Several prosecution witnesses testified about their concerns over George Floyd's life during his ultimately fatal 2020 arrest in the ongoing trial of three former Minneapolis officers.

Police body camera footage depicting George Floyd's arrest was played during the federal civil rights trial of former Minneapolis officers Tou Thao, Thomas Lane and J. Alexander Kueng as prosecutors asked the jury to "hold these men accountable."

Nothing indicates that Chauvin's plea deal included an agreement to testify against Tou Thao, Thomas Lane and J. Alexander Kueng at their trial.

The federal trial for J. Alexander, Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao — three former Minneapolis cops — charged with violating George Floyd's civil rights kicked off with jury selection on Thursday.

Several high profile police killings of Black people, including George Floyd, have inspired national movements promoting racial equality.

Arianna Delane was asleep in the bedroom of a second-floor apartment when someone fired several shots — but her own mother had to take her to the hospital.

In October, the board had unanimously recommended that Floyd become just the second person in Texas since 2010 to receive a posthumous pardon.

The former Minneapolis police officer also pled guilty to violating the rights of a teenage boy in a separate 2017 case.

Former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin was convicted of murdering George Floyd. Now he is expected to plead guilty to violating Floyd's civil rights. 

Micah Beals, who appeared in 'Parks and Recreation' and 'CSI:NY' under the stage name Micah Femia, was also reportedly arrested earlier this year for a curfew violation in Washington D.C. after the Capitol riot.
