Elizabeth Holmes testified that Ramesh “Sunny” Balwani dictated to her how to act and look, and molded her into the person he wanted her to be.

Elizabeth Holmes, who is accused of defrauding investors of her healthcare company, testified for around an hour Friday afternoon but has yet to comment on many of the central aspects of the prosecution's case.

Daniel Edlin testified that Elizabeth Holmes would have him show potential investors a demo room and claim it was their laboratory. 

Elizabeth Holmes' attorney Kevin Downey expressed worry that the unsealing of such personal juror information could lead to an unfair trial.

"I am a Buddhist, and so I practice for compassion, you know, for loving and forgiveness," the juror said before being dismissed from Elizabeth Holmes' fraud trial in California.

“She didn’t seem surprised, just nervous and upset. She wasn’t her usual self," former Theranos lab director Dr. Adam Rosendorff testified about confronting Elizabeth Holmes with his concerns in 2013. 

Elizabeth Holmes private thoughts are revealed in thousands of text messages she shared with former boyfriend Ramesh “Sunny” Balwani, giving new insight into the couple’s romantic life, their pursuit of high-profile investors and discussion of lavish company spending.

Elizabeth Holmes' fraud trial, which began with opening statements on Wednesday, is slated to resume Tuesday.
