Attorneys for Breonna Taylor's family contend the officers had no reason to be at her house the night she was killed.

The Louisville Police Department stated that Officer Brett Hankinson demonstrated “extreme indifference to the value of human live” in the encounter that left EMT Breonna Taylor dead in her own apartment.

"I find your conduct a shock to the conscience," the police chief said in a letter to Brett Hankison about his role in Breonna Taylor's killing.

"The next months cannot look like the last three," Beyoncé wrote demanding action for Breonna Taylor.

“All Breonna wanted to do was save lives,” Breonna Taylor’s mother, Tamika Palmer, said before the vote.

The Louisville Metro Police incident report states that Breonna Taylor had no injuries — even though she was shot eight times.
