Tallahassee Police confirmed Oluwatoyin Salau's death Monday, also identifying a second victim as 75-year-old Victoria Sims.

Atlanta Police were called to a Wendy's restaurant Friday night after receiving reports that a man – later identified as Rayshard Brooks – was asleep in his vehicle in the drive-thru lane, but the incident quickly escalated leaving Brooks fatally shot.

A year before George Floyd begged officers for breath in Minneapolis, Derrick Scott made a tragically similar plea and died shortly after in Oklahoma City.

Derrick Sanderlin’s testicle was ruptured after a police officer shot him in the groin with a rubber bullet.

Protestors have also torn down various monuments to Christopher Columbus, another contentious historical figure.
