Robert McCallion's stabbing of a Black teenager, who survived the attack, was "brutal, despicable and cowardly," according to the Westchester County DA's Office.

Prosecutors and attorneys for the former officers involved in the May 25, 2020 murder of George Floyd could also argue several motions at Tuesday's hearing.

Former Brunswick Judicial Circuit District Attorney Jackie Johnson was hit with a single felony charge of violating her oath of office, and a separate misdemeanor charge of obstructing a police officer in Ahmaud Arbery’s death.

Former Brooklyn Center officer Kim Potter is now charged with first-degree manslaughter, in addition to a prior charge of second-degree manslaughter.

“I started crying because it's been two years," Sheneen McClain, the young man's mother, said after the 32-count indictment was handed down.
