Episode 5 - 40th birthday/Camp-out

Tuesday, May 13, 2008

The best of my birthday party was knowing that we were going to raise the money to get a wheelchair for a little girl. You can see during the episode that it wasn’t just a birthday party, it was a birthday party/fundraiser. I’m not big on parties or celebrating me. I’m not the celebratory type. I don’t even open presents. I have unopened presents from last Christmas still in my closet. I’m just not the celebratory type. But now that I'm in my forties, you know what I would've done with the kids on their fishing trip? Well, for starters, we would’ve caught some fish. That’s what it’s called: a fishing trip. We would’ve had a good time, though. At any age.
