Legally Blonde (2001)
To prepare for her role as Elle, Reese Witherspoon spent two weeks studying the behavior of sorority girls, observed women shopping from the café at Neiman Marcus and attended law school for a day.
Monster-in-Law (2005)
In the scene when Charlie's dress rips, the rip is visible and her hair is messed up but in the next shot the rip disappears and her hair is perfectly fine again. Oops!
Leelee Sobiesky (Here on Earth)
Leelee collects locks of hair from major stars appearing with her in films, but Tom Cruise refused to participate in her “collection” when filming Eyes Wide Shut (1999).
A Cinderella Story (2004)
The number "609" at the end of Chad Michael Murray's online screen name is the actual area code for the Princeton area, referred to throughout the movie.
Tom Hanks (Sleepless in Seattle)
Hanks is the second actor to win back-to-back, Best Actor Oscars, for his work in Philadelphia (1993) and Forrest Gump (1994).
Becoming Jane (2007)
James McAvoy had to wear three-inch lifts throughout the filming of the entire movie because at 5'7 he is shorter than his 5'8 leading lady, Anne Hathaway.
Nicole Kidman (To Die For)
Kidman’s acting trademark is that her characters are often cold and emotionally vacant.
Shall We Dance (2004)
About $4,000 worth of jewelry worn by Susan Sarandon during the filming of the movie was stolen and recovered at a murder scene in Winnipeg in 2003. According to news sources, the jewelry was stolen from a vehicle on the movie set and found in a downtown hotel room.
Minnie Driver (Beautiful)
Driver was born in London, raised in Barbados and attended finishing schools in Paris and Grenoble, France. Talk about a world traveler!
Richard Gere (An Officer and a Gentleman)
In the three films that made Gere a star, Days of Heaven (1978), American Gigolo (1980), and An Officer and a Gentleman (1982), his role had been turned down by John Travolta.
