Court Documents Reveal New Details In Rapper 6ix9ine's Guilty Plea To Using A Child In A Sexual Performance

Earlier this year, critically celebrated rapper 6ix9ine, who also goes by the names Teka$hi 6ix9ine and Tekashi69, pleaded guilty to three felony counts of the use of a child in a sexual performance. The victim's name is currently being withheld from the public. Now, court documents reveal a handful of details about case.

The charge 6ix9ine (legal name: Daniel Hernandez) is accused of is specifically defined as "the use of a child in a sexual performance if knowing the character and content thereof he employs, authorizes or induces a child less than seventeen years of age to engage in a sexual performance or being a parent, legal guardian or custodian of such child, he consents to the participation by such child in a sexual performance."

Jezebel notes that rumors of the incident had been circulating on the internet and were specifically brought up in a feud with rappers Zillakami​ and Trippie Redd, who in a disagreement with 6ix9ine stated that they "don’t promote pedophiles.”

6ix9ine's public statements about the situation, which he claims occurred “three to four years ago," contradict official court documents. The criminal complaint states that the incident occurred on February 21, 2015 and continued until the next day.

Videos from the night in question were uploaded to social media (and have since been deleted). In the videos, 6ix9ine can be seen "behind the child making a thrusting motion with his pelvis and smacking her on her buttocks. The child is nude in the video," according to court documents.

“In the third video, the child is completely nude and is sitting across the laps of the defendant and the separately charged defendant Taquan Anderson. The separately charged defendant touches the child across her legs and vagina with his hand. The same three individuals are observed in all three videos," says the criminal complaint.

The victim's mother reportedly saw the posts the next day. 

“I don’t know her exact age, I think she was 14 or some shit like that,” 6ix9ine says in the above video. “I’m not touching the girl, I’m not having sexual intercourse with the girl, I’m not doing nothing, she just nude in some type of way.”

“When she came in she asked me how old I was and I told her I was 18 and I assumed she was older. The way she was asking made me think she was older," 6ix9ine later said in police interrogations.

6ix9ine, who was factually 18 at the time of the crime, also made incorrect statements about his age at the time of the incident, describing himself as “a baby,” “a kid,” and “17 years young ... I was doing it for my image.”

The conditions of 6ix9ine's plea deal include "one year of interim probation ... two years of mental health treatment with regular updates to the court on his progress ... [and] three hundred hours of community service through the New York City Parks Department." He was also forbidden from posting sexually explicit or violent content on social media and instructed to obtain his GED.

6ix9ine has not responded to requests for comments on the situation.
